We usually reply within 48–72 hours.
Not every edition appears in the public databases, especially older or regional pressings. You can then search by title, or fill the entry in by hand: no field is required apart from the title. Barcode scanning requires the Premium subscription.
One barcode can cover several pressings. In the results screen, pick the matching edition, or use the optional filters (year, country) to narrow the search. You can then correct any field manually.
For each record, the app queries eBay for comparable completed sales, with Discogs as an additional source, and derives a minimum, average and maximum value. This is an indication, not an appraisal: it depends on the listings available at the time of the calculation. You can hide estimated values in the settings.
Check that both devices use the same iCloud account, that iCloud Drive is enabled, and that the account still has free space. The first sync of a large library, images included, can take several minutes. The settings also offer "Force resync".
From a library's options, generate a share link and send it to whoever you like. You decide whether they can only browse (read-only) or also edit (collaboration). Sharing can be stopped at any time from those same options.
The settings let you export a full library, images included, to a file you keep wherever you like, then import it on another device.
Deleted items go to the trash first, where you can restore them. They are only gone for good once the trash is emptied.
The free version handles up to 50 items, with 20 new entries per day. The yearly MyMediaLib Premium subscription lifts those limits and unlocks barcode scanning. To get a subscription back on a new device, open the subscription page in the app and choose "Restore purchases". Managing and cancelling is done in your Apple account settings.

MyMediaLib ("the app") is a collection cataloging app published by Fiquemo Fabrice. This policy explains what data the app handles.
The entries you create (titles, cover art, personal notes, dates, estimates) are stored on your device and, if syncing is on, in your own iCloud account. We do not host your collections and have no access to them.
Syncing uses CloudKit, Apple's service, inside your personal iCloud account. When you share a library, its contents become available to the people you invite, with the rights you grant them (read-only or collaboration). You can stop sharing at any time. Data handling by iCloud is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
To complete an entry, the app sends your search (barcode, title, artist, author) to third-party services: Discogs, MusicBrainz, TMDb, OMDb, Open Library, Google Books, BoardGameGeek, EAN-Search and eBay. These requests contain only the search term — never your identity, nor the contents of your libraries. Each of these services applies its own privacy policy.
Some requests (eBay price estimates, TMDb movie searches) go through a service we operate, solely to protect our access keys to those APIs. That service relays the search term and the matching response; it keeps no profile and no named history.
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how it is used and to detect outages in external services. The events recorded are technical and anonymous: app launch, library type used, entry creation, duration and outcome of API calls. No text you type, no barcode, no cover art and nothing identifying you is included. These measurements are covered by Google's privacy policy.
The camera is used to scan a barcode or photograph a cover; the photo library, to pick an existing image. Images stay in your library, on your device and in your iCloud. Nothing is sent to third parties for image analysis.
If you enter your own credentials (Discogs token, API key), they are stored only on your device, securely in Apple's Keychain, and are used solely to query the service concerned.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. Transactions and payment information are processed by Apple; we have no access to them and receive no payment data. If you enable confirmation with Face ID or Touch ID, authentication happens on your device and sends us no biometric data.
The app contains no advertising and sells no data.
Deleting the app erases the data kept on the device. To erase synced data, delete your libraries in the app before uninstalling, or manage the app's storage from your device's iCloud settings.
The app does not knowingly collect any data concerning children.
